Virginia Pearl "Ginny" Goetz

On September 14, 2022, Virginia (Ginny) Pearl Goetz passed away peacefully at home at the age of 89. Virginia was born July 16th, 1933, in Nitro, West Virginia to Clarence and Mattie Shamblin. She married Elmer A. Goetz on July 18, 1985, in Tampa FL. 
 
Virginia was employed as an airport security guard and a receptionist at Florida Fire and Safety Company where she was loved and respected for her dedication and hard work. She enjoyed dancing, bluegrass festivals, camping, singing and music. She also had a love for animals and her horse Trixie. 
 
Virginia is survived by her husband, Elmer; her six children, Robert Camp and wife Lena, Linda Soto and husband Jose, Ernest Camp and wife Irma, Mary Desantis and husband Camillo, Susan Camp, and Carolyn Logan; three brothers, Carl Shamblin, Danny Shamblin, George Shamblin; one sister, Elizabeth (Libby) Lance; plus 21 grandchildren, Zen Lin, Christopher Lin, Virginia DeSantis, Camillo DeSantis Jr., Karina Bernacki, Cory Smallman, Jesse Townson, Matthew Camp, Joseph Spivey, Amanda Camp, Bradford Hayes, Robert Logan, Richard Logan, Eric Camp, EJ Camp, Brian Camp, Tyler Camp, Jonathan Stapleton, Michael Ranst, Radheya Camp, and Maiyah Spivey; and 19 great grandchildren. 
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mattie Shamblin; eight brothers and sisters, Julie Mea Shamblin, Helena Parkins, Ruby Jean Kelly, Clarence Jr Shamblin, Edward Shamblin, Robert Allen Shamblin, Roger Lee Shamblin, Eleanor Marie King, and Herman Shamblin; and one child, Bradford Allen Camp. 

A viewing will take place at 6pm on Monday, September 19, 2022 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church located at 800 NW 5th St., Moore, Oklahoma 73160. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 6:30pm. A Committal Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Moore City Cemetery.
