Van Greenwood

Van Edward Greenwood died unexpectedly on November 16, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 60.

Van is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marie; sons Ryan and Marc; grandchildren Kolton, Shelby, and Sebastian; Aunt Velma Whitaker, sisters Sundae Bue, Faith Wooldridge, Leah Greenwood and Melody Warren. Preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Mae Budd, his father Stanley Warren and two brothers: Matt and Andy Warren.

Van was born on September 20, 1960, in Newark, New Jersey, to Stanley Warren and Dorothy Mae Budd. He joined the United States Air Force in 1978 and married Marie Sorensen in Greece, before having Ryan in Georgia and Marc in Texas. After moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1992, Van began working for Tinker AFB in various avionics positions. His children remember him as a dedicated father who did everything he could to help them be successful in life. He was passionate about both his work and his family.

A funeral is scheduled for 11:00am at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th St, Moore, OK 73160.
