Timothy George Parrish

Tim Parrish of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, at the age of 63. Tim was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, Pa-Pa and a friend. Everyone who crossed paths with Tim was touched by his warm and selfless nature. Tim has always had a love for life that was infectious. Tim loved going fishing with his family, pushing buttons at the casino and watching OU football. He loved watching classic westerns, planting flowers, landscaping and listening to all kinds of music.

Tim met his wife, Shelley, his Junior year in High School and were married 45 years. They had one son TJ. An example of his selflessness Tim and Shelley raised their great-nephew, Cody and great-niece, Brooklyn.

Professionally, Tim was an excellent plumber, he loved helping others and formed countless business and personal relationships. TJ worked alongside his dad as a plumber since he was 16 years old. Together Tim and TJ created All City Plumbing. Tim and TJ’s bond were undeniable, not only son and business partner, but his best friend too.

Four years ago, Tim was diagnosed with stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma cancer. At the same time his granddaughter, Chadyn was born. Tim’s true pride and joy was when he became Pa-Pa. The minute Chadyn came in the room, Tim would light up.

His unwavering faith in the Lord was a foundation he stood on when faced with his challenging health diagnosis. Tim loved the Lord and going to church with his family, to worship his God and to draw his strength from the word.

Tim leaves behind his wife Shelley, son TJ and wife Danielle, granddaughter Chadyn, nephew, Cody and niece, Brooklyn. He is survived by his mother, Sherri Davison. Siblings, Guy (Keleta) Parrish, Tonya Parrish (Bear), and Todd (Kim) Davison. His beloved dog, Nikki. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Sim (Buzz) Parrish, grandparents, George and Helen Koelsch.
Tim will be missed by many.

We will come together to celebrate Tim's life at 2 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Moore Funeral and Cremation.
