Teresa LeAnn Henry

Teresa LeAnn Henry, 55, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 peacefully in her home in Moore, Oklahoma.

Teresa was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Richard and Marilyn McWhorter on June 5, 1963. As a child she went to school at Wellston Elementary and then moved The Village to continue her education.  She married her husband Wesley Henry April 25, 2003. She decided to get her GED and graduated from Metro Technology Center.  Teresa worked as an Assistant in the Oil and Gas Industry which she worked for a number of years. 

Teresa enjoyed making jewelry that she sold for many years. She she was very proud of her creations and while going through treatment would give all the nurses little angle earrings. She loved to be outside and gardening with her grandchildren. Her five grandchildren were her world and she enjoyed watching them grow.

Teresa is survived by husband, Wesley Henry; daughter, Crystal Springsteen Stowell and spouse Dustin Stowell; mother, Marilyn Ware; grandchildren, Kalauni Stowell, Blayne Springsteen, Tysen Springsteen, Juleyanna Springsteen and Izzybella Springsteen-Stowell.

Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Richard Glenn McWhorter, grandmother and grandfather, Glenn and Lucille Deweese, grandmother and grandfather, Tim and Ruby McWhorter. 

The family of Teresa Henry wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Stephenson Cancer Center for giving us an additional 4 years with her, Life Spring Hospice and Chaplain Harry Smith.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, OK.
 

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 23rd at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Moore Funeral and Cremation with Chaplain Harry Smith officiating.
