I'm so very sorry for your loss. Susan was a wonderful woman with a beautiful heart and soul. Her family was always the most important thing in her life. Above all things her kind nature and giving spirit made me feel welcomed into the family with loving arms. I always enjoyed spending time with her. I will miss her terribly. I hope in heaven that she will forgiven me for the poor choices I made. I wish I could have sat with her, talked to her, and told her how very sorry I am. Susan, I love you, I miss you, and I'm very sorry for all I've done. I hope to see you one day. On that day I will hug you and hold your hand and tell you that you were the best mother-in-law I could have ever had. Susan Martin

Lemuel, we are so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. You have many memories to cherish and a son and beautiful granddaughter to celebrate Susan through them.

Even though we were 1st. cousins Susan Claire was the closest thing I ever had to a sister. We were three weeks apart and both of us were born in Houston. We shared some really great times together growing up. I thank God that I got to visit with her in January when my daughter (Carrie) and I attended a wedding in Oklahoma and stayed with Susan & Lemuel. It was a precious time that I will cherish as she was feeling pretty perky while we were there. I will miss her terribly. She's well now and partying with our loved ones that have gone before. I am comforted knowing that she is a Christian and loves the Lord.
Lemuel you are the best husband ever...bar none! I can't say enough good things about you. You loved and cared for her all the days of your life. May God Bless the new chapter in your life!
