Silvia Romero Chavolla

Silvia “Lily” Chavolla, 75, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully in Norman, Oklahoma on September 2, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born, June 20, 1944 in Mexicali, México, to the late Jesús Díaz Romero and Maria Del Rosario Aguiar. Silvia graduated from Washington High in Fremont, California. Silvia was married to Eduardo Chavolla from June 4, 1962 - July 6, 2016. They shared 52 years of marriage.

She was survived by sisters, America Romero, Francisca Cope, and Veronica (Bill), Devine; son, Edward “Eddie” (Linda) Chavolla; daughter, Silvia “Silvita” (Leonard) Youngblood; granddaughters, Brandy Chavolla, Ana Marie Garcia, Molly (Taylor) Gates, Emma Youngblood, Hannah Youngblood, Samantha (Frankie) Zamora; grandson, Antonio (Amber) Chavolla; as well as great- grandchildren, Chris, Sophia, Makayla, Izzy and Gilbert.

Silvia was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Jesus Romero; and sister, Rosamelia Sanchez.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home & Cremation under the direction of Chaplin Kerry McClure.
