Shannan Margaret Austin

Shannan Margaret Austin – 40, Oklahoma City, was called home to be with our Lord on September 3, 2019.


Born May 31, 1979 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Ivena (Hatch) Hansen and the late Eli Edward Hansen.


Shannan graduated from Scotland High School in Scotland, Arkansas in 1997. Shannan was a homemaker who dearly loved her Lord, her husband and daughter, and her family. She loved to read and enjoyed watching softball.


Shannan married Darrell “Pat” Austin Jr. July 19, 2008.


In addition to her father, Shannan was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.


Shannon is survived by her devoted husband of 11 years; daughter Souix; mother Ivena Hansen; sisters, Elizabeth (Paul) Drinkwater and Sheri (Daniel) Honeycutt; brother Donald (Rosella) Hansen; special cousin Cora Honeycutt; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held Sunday, September 8th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, OK.


Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9th at 1:00 PM at Charity Free Will Baptist Church, 2900 S. Westminster Road, Midwest City, OK with Josh Aufdengarten officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Knowles Cemetery in Crescent, OK.
