Sam Ouamalich, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, left this world on September 20, 2023, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, at the age of 30. He was born on March 1, 1993, in Settat, Morocco, to his parents Med Ouamalich and Fatima Ouamalich.
Sam's journey to the United States began by being adopted by his brother, making it possible for him to start a new chapter in a foreign land. His resilience and determination to build a better life for himself and his family were truly admirable. Sam was a man of extraordinary qualities. His heart overflowed with patriotism, and he carried a generosity that knew no bounds. Yet, despite his countless virtues, Sam remained remarkably humble, never seeking attention for himself. He possessed a deeply ingrained sense of hospitality, always eager to open his heart and home to those in need, and his servant's heart shone brightly in every aspect of his life. One of Sam's defining characteristics was his unwavering commitment to helping others. He had an innate ability to look out for everyone around him, and his willingness to extend a helping hand touched countless lives. Sam's passion for work was another of his distinguishing features. His work valued him so much. Sam loved to work out and work on his physique. He was naturally slim but worked tirelessly to gain muscle, a testament to his unyielding determination. Among Sam's many passions, motorcycles held a special place in his heart. Riding them brought him a sense of peace and freedom like no other. It was on these open roads that he found solace and tranquility. Love and family found its way into Sam's life when he was just 19, as he met Sheila, the love of his life, who was 22 at the time. Their whirlwind romance led to their marriage on October 30, 2012. Sam was eager to settle down and start a family, and he embraced this new chapter with open arms. Sam took on the role of provider for his family with great dedication. He strived to be the best father, despite the challenges he faced in his own childhood. He had an exceptional bond with his children, particularly his beloved Jalilah, and he could never say no to them. His warm and welcoming personality was best exemplified by his hugs. Sam gave the best hugs, and they had a magical way of making everyone feel like they were home.
Sam leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness, survived by his devoted wife, Sheila Ouamalich and their cherished children, Julianna, Jalilah, and Adam; four brothers; two sisters; mother, Fatima Ouamalich; along with countless extended family members and friends. Sam was preceded in death by his father, Med Ouamalich.
