Richard A. Fent

Richard Alvin Fent, born January 18th 1947, passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2022. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Margarite Fent, and siblings Harry Stone and Barbara Perfetti. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara; his sister Kathy Boswell; his sons, Richard and wife Bobigene and Jonathan Fent and wife Keisha; daughters, Amanda Young and husband Brian, and Tara Winters, grandchildren, Erica McLaughlin and husband Justin, Bella and Brighton Fent, Kynlee and Kyndall Fent, Delaina Wolfe and husband Joshua and Mindy Fullingim and husband Kevin, Austin, Zachary and Kaylee Young; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Shea McLaughlin and Kyler Fullingim; and his beloved dog, Elliot.

Married to Barbara in 1964, Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who shared his time and energy with loved ones. Spending most of his life living in Oklahoma, he and his wife Barbara operated many successful restaurants like Pine Hill and Porky’s BBQ. He worked a variety of careers, both in livestock and restaurants. After retirement, he was often seen working on projects at the homes of his children and grandchildren.
