Patrick Kevin Fleming

Patrick Kevin Fleming was born in Topeka, Kansas on March 5th, 1951, and died in Norman, Oklahoma on March 28th, 2022 after a valiant 23-year battle with his health. Patrick was fondly known as “Opa” by many of the family and friends that loved him. He was one of four children raised in Houston, Texas by parents Kenneth and Dora Lee Fleming. He then met his dear and beloved Helga Marion Fleming, his wife of 48 years, and they had four beautiful children of their own. He worked hard to create a good life for his family by earning his bachelor’s in business, running a very successful insurance agency for 31 years and then owning Window World in OKC for 10 years. Although he had many great achievements in his career, he always took the most pride in his family. Aside from his career, and his wife and children, things that he loved included: traveling in his motorhome, woodworking, cars (especially corvettes), sci-fi movies, “torturing” his kids by waking them up on Sunday Mornings with Tennessee Ernie Ford, and, as many have experienced, making people laugh. He was his family’s rock, cheerleader, and supporter. He was full of life and silliness, and also full of wisdom and advice. 

Patrick Kevin Fleming was preceded in death by: his parents, Kenneth and Dora Lee Fleming; brother, Michael Fleming; and sister, Margaret Fleming.

Patrick Kevin Fleming is survived by: his wife Marion Fleming; his sister Barbara Oldani; his four children, April Jackson (wife to Darin Jackson), Patrick Fleming, Paul Fleming (husband to Noelle Fleming), and Joseph Fleming (husband to Kryslan Fleming); his 12 grandchildren, Alex Copeland (husband to Peighton Copeland), Ashleigh Perry (wife to Milton Perry), Callie Jackson, Andrew Copeland, Jake Jackson, Nate Jackson, Trinity Fleming, Coleman Fleming, Falyn Fleming, Wesley Fleming, Parker Holzbog, and Finley Fleming; and his 2 great grandchildren on the way. 

A public memorial service will be held at Moore Funeral and Cremation on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at 3 pm. A reception and time to share memories will follow.
