Well Mom, it's been a little over 3 months since you've gone on to Glory. Everything you wanted me to do has been taken care of. I think of you often and miss you,. Life goes on, but there's a hole where you were and I think it's always going to be a part of me.

Things got a little crazy around the end of January and into February when Tommy and Donna moved out of the house, but all is well now. We're the Roys....this kind of thing always happens to us.

I love you Mom and will see you again one day.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Grandma was such a wonderful woman, and I feel so fortunate to have had her in my life. She was warm, loving, genuine, kind, and funny. I miss her every single day. I miss her sweet hugs, her smile, her words of encouragement, and her loving heart. Today we say goodbye to one of my favorite people in my entire life. I love you, and miss you, Grandma.

Our family is very grateful and wants to thank the staff of Good Shepherd Hospice for the tender, loving care that they gave to our Mother, Mary Roy, in the last months of her life. Their care was exceptional and loving, and she always looked forward to their visits. Thank you Rachel and Alena, for making Mom's last months filled with joy.

Mary was one the sweetest and most godly woman I knew. I believe it is her faith that allowed her to remain strong to the end. What I found most amazing, that even as time passed, was her ability to remember things about the family's history and ancestry with so much clarity. Mom will always hold a part of my heart.
