Mary Marie Gibson-Fowler

Mary M. Maxey-Fowler passed away May 22, 2019. She was born July 7th, 1951 in Atoka, OK, to the late Rev. Sidney and Juanita Maxey.

She graduated from Atoka High School in 1969. After High School she moved to Oklahoma City to start her new life. She worked at CMI for a number of years then moved on to Western Electric, finally retiring from Lucent Technologies. Making along the way a number of wonderful friends.

Mary leaves behind, husband, Herman Fowler, whom she truly loved. Son, John Jackson and his wife Sylvia. Son, Kevin Garcia and his wife Amanda. Joy of Mary’s life her grandchildren, Kevin Garcia, Jr., Ashlee Jackson, Staci Boettler, Emilee Leasure, Kailee Garcia and Elizabeth Garcia. She also leaves behind a sister, Betty Condict and brother, Sydney Maxey.

She is preceded in death by her parents Rev. Sidney and Juanita Maxey, brother, Jerry Maxey, sister, Becky Darst, grandson, Caleb Garcia and granddaughter, Kellee Jackson.

Mary will be missed because she was truly loved by family and friends, she leaves behind stories that will be told for generations to come. Smiles and laughter will be her legacy.

Memorial services will be Monday, May 27th at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th St, Moore, Oklahoma.
