Keith Allen Butcher, 56, of Blanchard, husband to Kaye Butcher, passed in his home Friday, May 5, 2017.

He was born in San Jose, CA to Katherine Hood and the late Alfred Butcher.

Keith was a US Air Force Veteran, retiring after 20 years of service. He earned numerous commendations to include: the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal (USAF), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, United Nations Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), and Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), while serving his country. He married the love of his life April 5, 1997. He adored his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved his dogs. Keith enjoyed golf, old country music, playing drums, strong cups of coffee, and was an avid reader. He was a member of Mustang Masonic Lodge 407.

In addition to his father, Keith was preceded in death by his grandson, Caden Keith Butcher , and his sister, Donna Brown.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Katherine, his loving wife, Kaye, of 20 years; daughter, Kyla Brianne Trimmell (David "Levi"); sons, Joshua Keith Butcher (Victoria), and Travis Alfred Butcher (Regina); sisters, Nalynn Butcher, Sherry Wells (Ken), and brother Dennis Butcher (Alice), all of California; brothers, Randy L. Butcher, Sr. (Kelli) of Texas, and Steve Butcher (Lisa) of Oklahoma; grandsons, Levi Abram Trimmell, Hunter Allen Butcher, Mason James Butcher, and Jackson Lucas Butcher; granddaughter, Morgan Emma Butcher; long-time friend, Yancy Ellis (Shannon) of South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 10th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, OK.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 11th at 10:00 AM at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK with military honors rendered.

In lieu of flowers, Keith's family has requested donations be made directly to The Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517
