Kathy Reich

Kathy Reich, of Oklahoma City, passed from this life October 13, 2018 at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 7, 1958 in Houston, TX to Tom and Jimmy Cornelius (Green).
Kathy grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1976. She worked at Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator for almost 20 years. She was married to the love of her life, Donald “Doni” Reich for over 30 years before his passing on July 12, 2013.
Kathy’s hobbies included gardening and spending time outdoors with her family. She was an avid animal lover and was the best mom to her fur-babies, Princess, Twin, and Care-Bear. No matter what Kathy was doing, she always had a Starbucks cup nearby. She also enjoyed reading and was strong in her faith. No matter how bad she felt, she never failed to keep on fighting. She loved participating in her women’s bible study group when she was able to. Kathy loved the Lord and cherished her family each and every day. She will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Tom Cornelius; husband, Donald “Doni” Reich; and her beloved animals.
Survivors include her mother, Jimmy Cornelius of Texas; son, D.J. Reich and wife Dee of Oklahoma City; daughter, Crystal Duncan of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Jayden Duncan and Baby Reich, who will arrive in March; sisters, Tommy Joseph and husband Mike, Michelle Cornelius, Denise Christianson and husband Daryl, and M’Liss Taylor and husband Mark. She is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Visitation for Kathy is 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Moore Funeral and Cremation. Services are 11:00am, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Chapel of Moore Funeral and Cremation. Condolences may be shared at www.MooreFuneralCremation.com.
