Kathleen L. Spinks

Kathleen L. Spinks of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on December 12, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 83 years.

Kathleen L. Spinks was born on August 13, 1937, in Okarche, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Hoehner) Schaefer. She attended Okarche Public Schools graduating from Okarche High School. Following her education she moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she began working for Safeway. On November 1958, she married Billy Gene Spinks and they made their home in Spencer until 1973, when they moved to McLoud. She worked for World Wide Motor Club, and also worked for the State House of Representatives. In 1984, Billy preceded her in death and she moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and began working for the F.A.A. until her retirement in 1999. She enjoyed going to the casino, watching sports, and loved family gatherings.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and three sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Spinks and wife Debbie of Little Axe, and John Spinks and wife Terri of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Jessica, Kevin, Rachel, Rhianna, Morgan, and Logan; six great grandchildren, Kolbie, Grady, Trista, Lauren, Taylor, Gavin, Landin, and Leon; one great great grandchild, Eden; and four sisters.
