John Allen Baer

John Allen Baer was born September 1, 1956 in Oklahoma City to Martin David Baer II and Dolores Wilson Baer.

He passed away in his home in Norman on Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was 61.

He is preceded in death by his parents Martin David and Dolores Baer, his brother Martin David Baer III and his sister Julie Baer Hall.

John leaves behind many friends and family. He is survived by his ex-wife Bonnie White Baer; daughter Patricia Baer Shelley and her husband Matt; grandson Patrick; daughter Jacqueline Baer Howard and her husband Martin; grandson Hayes; brother-in-law Craig Hall; nieces and nephews John, Jeff, Kristen, Lauren, Kristy and their families.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, TX 75219.

A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75205.
