Jess Caldwell, Sr., 83, of Oklahoma City, passed from this life April 3, 2018.
He was born July 14, 1934 in Polk County, AR to Martin and Ada Caldwell.
Jess was drafted into the United States Army in 1956 and worked with heavy artillery. He was stationed in West Berlin, Germany. Jess also worked for Belger Cartage for more than 20 years as a heavy hauler truck driver. He loved traveling and being on the road. Jess was always crazy about fast cars and motorcycles. He loved to race and work on his cars.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Doris Jean Caldwell; sons, Lester Caldwell of McCloud and Jess Caldwell, Jr. and wife LaDonna of Tuttle; grandchildren, Casey Caldwell and wife Chay, Alexander Caldwell and wife Miranda, Duncan Demaree, and Brandon Caldwell, and brother, Marty Caldwell; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Molly, Truett, and Grayson Caldwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
