Janice Marie Laronde

Janice Marie Laronde entered her Heavenly home on February 20, 2019 at the age of 46. She was born December 28, 1972 in Boston, Massachusetts to James R. Laronde, Sr. and the late Diane Louise Laronde.

Janice grew up in Holliston, MA and the family moved to Oklahoma City in 1978. She graduated from Rippetoe school and had resided in Moore since 2003.

Janice had a passion for traveling. Whether she was taking a short ride in the car or on a cruise ship to Alaska, nothing gave her more excitement. Some of her many adventures with her family included multiple visits to New England and visiting the Panama Canal. When Janice wasn’t out taking a ride or traveling, she was most likely watching NCIS. To say she was an avid fan of the show would be an understatement. Above all, Janice loved her family and spending time with them. Her dad and brothers were her ultimate protectors throughout life. Her stepmother and stepsister were also a huge part of her life. Sheryl and Sheila grew close to Janice and she always knew how much they loved her.  Through her many struggles and hardships, Janice continued to smile and bring joy to those around her. Although she will be missed dearly, Janice’s legacy will continue forever in the lives she touched.

She was preceded in passing by her mother, Diane Louise Laronde; and grandparents, Eileen and Rodolphe Laronde and Francis Galvin.

Those left to cherish her memory include her father, James R. Laronde, Sr. and his loving wife, Sheryl; brothers, James R. Laronde, Jr. and wife Stacey and Keith J. Laronde and wife Jeanette; nephew, Ryan Laronde; nieces, Alyssa Laronde and Evelyn Laronde; aunts, Janice Kenefick and husband Chris, Carolyn Melanson, and Ellen Callender; uncles, David Laronde and wife Donna and Richard Laronde and wife Barbara; step-sister, Sheila Anderson and step-brothers, Kim and Kirk Kennedy. She is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.

Visitation for Janice is 9:00am to 10:45am, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th St. Moore, OK 73160. Services are 11:00am on Saturday in the chapel of Moore Funeral and Cremation. Interment will follow at Moore City Cemetery.
