James Stayton

James Franklin Stayton, passed away on August 14th, 2021 in his home in Moore, Oklahoma surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Hollis, Oklahoma on November 14th, 1943 in the family farmhouse to Arthur and Wyma Stayton. He is survived by his Wife: Johanna Stayton of 49 years, from Moore, Oklahoma, his son: Michael Stayton, and family of Skiatook, Oklahoma, and his daughters: Catherine Williams, and family of Lake Whitney, Texas, Susan Folsom, and family of Wellston, Oklahoma, and Samantha Stayton, and family of Moore, Oklahoma. James loved spending time with his family, and was a Proud Father (4), Grandfather (6), and Great-Grandfather (4.) In his youth, James proudly served 24 years in the Air Force where he was able to explore this Grand Country of ours. When not spending time with his family you could always find James working on his cars, or relaxing in his recliner while watching his favorite TV shows. James will always be remembered for his quick wit, and joking personality. He was so loved, and will be greatly missed.
