Heather Eckmann, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the age of 43. Heather was born on January 4, 1980 in Charlottesville, Virginia to John Charles and Della Louise Eckmann. She was known for her quick sense of humor and sharp wit. She never met a stranger, and she was confidently herself, which drew people to her. Heather loved lighthouses and was a big tattoo art advocate. She loved music, with one of her last concerts with her sister being a Pink concert. She was an avid reader and loved dancing and puzzles. She was a very loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is truly missed.
Heather is survived by her parents, John Charles and Della Louise Eckmann; siblings, Nikki Eckmann, Miles Eckmann, and Emily Eckmann; nieces and nephews, Kinzleigh Eckmann, Kennedy Eckmann, and Elias Eckmann; best friends, Inez and George McGrew; along with numerous and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William Frank and Dollie Rose Waldon; and paternal grandparents, George Herbert and Joyce Ann Eckmann.
A Celebration of Heather’s Life will take place at 2pm on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Moore Funeral and Cremation.
