Our beloved little sister, Ginny L. Keeler, passed away on March 21, 2018 at the age of 56 at OU Med Center in OK City. She was born March 19, 1962 in Fort Hood, TX, graduated from Lincoln East High School in 1980 and attended University of Nebraska.
Ginny was a very independent and determined person who became well known for her Billiard playing abilities. She helped blaze a billiard trail for women in the Midwest in the 1980’s and 90’s. She won the Midwest Ladies Singles twice and was on the women’s team that placed 3rd at the 1990 International Championship. In 1992 she placed 5th in the Men’s International Open Championship. Then in 1993 she won the title of the International 8-Ball Women’s Masters Singles Championship! In 2007 she was inducted into the Midwest Pool Association “Hall of Fame”. In 2009 she was inducted into the VNEA Pool “Hall of Fame”.
Ginny spent most of her adult life working as a Data Analyst for Williams Gas in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she made numerous life-long friends.
Her mother and father, Kayoko and Richard Keeler preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Pam Keeler (Brumley) of Austin, TX; her brothers, Rex (and wife Amy) Keeler of Lincoln, NE, and Jeff (and wife Cathy) Keeler of Kansas City, MO. In addition she is survived by nephews and nieces from Nebraska, Tennessee, Missouri, and Texas.
