Frances Zimmerman

Frances Marie Zimmerman, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the age of 82. Frances was born on February 27, 1940 in Wapanucka, Oklahoma to Clarence and Daisy (Richardson) Shann. She was an avid OU fan. She loved watching all OU sporting events and OKC Thunder. In her younger years she loved to bowl and competed for several years. She even won a state championship for her bowling. She married her love, Harold, in the 1960s and after his passing in 1985 she really focused on spending time with her family. She loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was the absolute best grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Zimmerman; parents, Clarence and Daisy (Richardson) Shann; and sisters, Neva (Joe) Parker, Shirley Hoelscher, and Betty Lou Shann
Frances is survived by her son, Ronnie (Larie) Cosby; grandchildren, Eric (Lora) Cosby, Shaun (Alicia) Cosby, and Jessica (Colby) Deck; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Cosby, Wyatt Cosby, Caffrey Cosby, and Bexlie Deck; sister, Sue (Gene) Algrim; brother-in-law, Eugene Hoelscher; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Moore Funeral and Cremation with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
