Edward H. Whitlock, 93, of Oklahoma City passed in his home Friday, May 31, 2019. He was born in Lewisville, TX to the late Henry and Ruth Whitlock. Always an achiever, he completed public school and went on to Oklahoma University where he got a degree as a Petroleum Engineer (Geologist). After serving his country in the US Army he met the love of his life, Wanda J. (Akridge) and they married in 1950.
In hard times Edward and Wanda would gather the family together, arms in tact, and reassure that they all stood together. "All for one and one for all." Edward was kind hearted, compassionate, and giving. He was the most honorable person with his favorite saying being, "Honesty is the best policy." He loved every day, and it was love in deed, not word alone. Edward was regarded as a truly special person by his family, friends, and all that knew him.
