Donald Geary Ridley, 84, of Oklahoma City, went to be with his Lord and Savior January 4, 2018. He resided at the VA Center in Norman, Oklahoma for the past year.
 
Born July 31, 1933 in Oklahoma City, the son of Maurice Wayne Ridley and Martha Ann (Francis) Ridley.

Don was a selfless, caring, hardworking man. Blessed with talent few have, he was self-taught, and had a gift for understanding how complex things work. Don built his own home, could repair any type of machinery and equipment, and had a passion for building cars. He even developed an understanding of computer networking hardware in commercial installations with no formal training. Being self-employed Don began work before sunrise and after returning home in the evenings still found time to serve others.

He loved his church, Southwest Baptist, which he had been a member of since 1958. He loved to cook, enjoyed all kinds of food, being outdoors, bowling, and cherished spending time with family.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Wayne Ridley and Martha Ann (Francis) Ridley, brothers, Morris Gene Ridley and Billy Joe Ridley, sisters, Marcetta Sue Giardina, Juniece Ann (Ridley) DeMarsh, Alvena Odean (Ridley) Ryans, and Treana Shirlene (Ridley) Williams.
 
Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, wife, Dolores Faye (Rushing) Ridley of the home; son, Tony Ridley and his wife Shawna (Tortolini) Ridley; daughter, Terri (Ridley) Barnett and her husband Randy Barnett; grandchildren, Jared Colbert, Haley Colbert, Holly (Ridley) Wilson and her husband Jason Wilson, Brandon Kahre and his wife Emily (Root) Kahre, Kristen (Kahre) Lubin and her husband Caleb Lubin, Kylie (Ridley) McLearen and her husband Ryan McLearen, Reed Brooks and Andrew Ridley; step-grandchildren, Meagan (Barnett) Mabrey and her husband Jared Mabrey, Miranda (Barnett) Kelley and her husband Trevor Kelley; great-grandchildren, Darrien Alexander, Emma, Jacob and Joshua Wilson, Adlyn and Evy McLearen, Kasen Kahre; step-great-grandchildren, Alyssa Mabrey, Ryan, Kye and Lucy Kelley.
