Dee Odean Wilson

Dee was born in Edmond, OK to Herman O. & Nina M. Wilson. He was the eldest of three sons, followed by Edward L. “Hap” Wilson and Herman Ray “Shorty” Wilson.
Dee graduated from Stratford, OK High School in 1949, attended the University of Oklahoma and received his Bachelor’s degree from East Central University in Ada, OK in 1953.
He married Theresa V. Straughan, January 23, 1959. Dee was a loving husband to Theresa and they raised two sons, Allen O. & Jerry Lee Wilson.
A proud father and dedicated family man, Dee spent his free time with his family and friends. Many weekends were spent with Theresa, the boys, parents and in-laws. Summer vacations, too were always a family affair with trips to see many of the sights throughout the US along with adventures to the Gulf of Mexico.
His warm and thoughtful way put everyone he met, quickly at ease and his sense of humor made everyone laugh and feel as though he had been their friend for many years.
Dee was preceded in death by his parents and both brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Theresa and both sons.
