Cristina Cayago Nunn, also known as Mom, Ka Tin, and Grandmommy, was born on December 25, 1948 in Mabalacat Pampangga, Philippines to Primitivo and Quirino Cayago. She lived to be 73 years of age and passed peacefully on January 13, 2022 at Medical Park West in Norman, Oklahoma. Cristina resided in Norman, Oklahoma for the last 2 years.
She is survived by Son, Leroy and daughter-in-law Leslie of Hurst, TX; son, Ronnie and daughter-in-law Melody of Norman, OK; Grandchildren, Michael and fiancé Lanna, Cristin, Kaitlyn, and Joshua of OK and Cash, Lara, and Leah of TX; Great-grandchildren Emmit and Adrianna of OK.
sisters- Aida of Waynesboro, PA; Corazon of the Philippines; Irma and husband Eddie, of the Philippines; Ollie and husband Tom of Phoenix, AZ; Elenita and husband Orlando of the Philippines; and Luzmivida and husband Chip of Phoenix, AZ.
Cristina was preceded in death by her parents, Primitivo and Quirino Cayago, and siblings Felipe, Angelita, Remy, and nephews and nieces.
Cristina started out her life in a humble, loving home with 10 siblings in the Philippines. She married and came to the United States to start a family in 1971. She resided in Mineral Wells, Texas for 49 years where she became known by many and loved her community. She became an American citizen in 1985 and greatly loved her country. She had a job in manufacturing at the start of her career and later became a caregiver for elderly local residents. Cristina was known for her love and generosity for her family and friends. She had a real heart for the elderly and those in need. Cristina will be missed by all who knew her.
