On July 23rd, 2019 Cheryl Jolene Freed passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 61.
Cheryl was born on December 4th 1957 in Norman, Oklahoma to Joe and Genevie Barnard. She married David Richard Freed on September 26th, 1975 and they raised their two sons, Noah and Adam, at their south Oklahoma City home where they still resided at the time of her passing.
Cheryl was employed at The Boeing Company for over 20 years, most recently in supply chain management where she was loved and respected by her co-workers for her dedication and hard work. Cheryl enjoyed being outdoors, working in the garden and spending time at Lake Eufaula. She loved fast cars, chocolate and was meticulous about the tidiness of her home… but most of all she loved David, her boys and her grandchildren.
Cheryl is survived by her husband David, of the home; son Noah David and wife Suzanne of Moore; son Adam Joseph and wife Stacy of Oklahoma City; 4 grandchildren, Hadley, Marley, Landin and Ace; a brother, Terry Barnard of Oklahoma City and a sister Diann Pospisil of Oklahoma City as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Genevie Barnard; father and mother-in-law Ralph T. and Leona Freed; her sister Linda Turner and brother-in-law Richard Pospisil.
Services will be held on Monday, July 29th at 10:30am at Moore Funeral and Cremation – 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, Oklahoma 73160.
