Berta Rodriguez

Berta Rodriguez, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the age of 98. Berta was born on September 17, 1923 in Cayey, Puerto Rico to Jose and Isabel Rivera (Rosario). She was a very devoted Christian. Her faith was everything to her. Her main enjoyment in life was watching her children grow and then having the blessing to watch her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren grow up. Her family was first in her life and she was always there for them. She was the most loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend.

Berta was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Isabel Rivera (Rosario); husband, Julian Rodriguez; son, Julian Rodriguez Jr.; and the majority of her siblings.

Berta is survived by her daughters, Luz Pagan and husband, Angel; and Carmen Rivera; grandchildren, Richard Pagan, Elaine Rodriguez, and Julian Enriquez Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Jessica Babin, Gabriel Pagain, Juliana Pagan, and Emilise Pagan; great-great grandchildren, Briella Babin, Malachi Miller, and McKenzie Babin; and close friend who thought of Berta as a grandmother, Raquel Wells.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 3pm at Moore Funeral and Cremation.
