Annice F. Ponder

Annice F. Ponder, 74, of Moore, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Friday, June 29, 2018.

She was born November 24, 1943 in Wilburton, OK to the late Fred Earl and Mavis Opal (Clark) Edington.

Annice was of the Baptist faith and baptized as a child. She married Phillip W. Moore and they spent 45 years together. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, and went with her husband to many car shows and events over the years. Annice was an avid fan of NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon, and enjoyed drag racing events. Her 1st love and passion was Elvis Presley.

In addition to her parents, Annice was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Edington.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Phillip; son, Greg Moore and his wife Caroline; daughter, Stephanie Birdwell and her husband Jon; grandchildren, Seth Moore and Casey Moore and his wife Teagan, and Ethan Birdwell and his wife Hannah; great-grandchild, Ellie Moore; brother, Fred Edington and his wife Joan; sister, Katherine Scott and her husband Leroy, and her twin, Janice Moore; nieces, Sherry Eggleston and her husband David, Marlene Ponnequin and her husband Steve, and Joel Farrar and her husband Rodney; nephews, Scott Moore and his wife Julie, Randy Scott and his wife Helen, Richard Edington and his wife Erica, and Curt Scott and his wife Jana; numerous great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 5th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, OK. A second visitation will be held Friday, July 6th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Waldrop Funeral Home, 1208 Highway 2N, Wilburton, OK.

Funeral service will be held Friday, July 6th at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the funeral home with Clyde Wooldridge officiating. A second funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7th at 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 204 E Ash Ave, Wilburton, OK followed by burial in Wilburton City Cemetery.
