Allan Charles Schurman passed away peacefully on February 23, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born to Edward “Eddie” and Sheila (Deer) Schurman in LaSalle, Quebec, Canada on April 14, 1964, and he grew up in Kahnawake.
Allan was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed the simple things in life. Just spending time with family was all he needed to be happy. He was loving, thoughtful, dependable, and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Some of his interests included ice hockey, traveling, long walks, reading, listening to “oldies”, astronomy, and Star Wars. He was extremely proud of his children.
Allan served 24 years in the Air Force mainly in Avionics Maintenance and later, management until his retirement as a Master Sergeant in 2009. He worked civil service proudly as a member of 966th Airborne Air Control Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base from 2012 until his unexpected death.
Allan is preceded in death by his father, Edward “Eddie” Schurman.
Those left behind include his loving wife of 32 years, Kara (Delisle) Schurman, children Andrew and Kelly Schurman, mother Sheila (Deer) Schurman, and sisters Charleen (Schurman) and Brian Jacobs and Sandra Schurman.
Though gone from this world, he will live on in the hearts of his family and every life that he touched throughout the years. We will love and miss him forever…
