Virgil Orbry Blankenship, 64, of Eufaula, passed from this life January 5, 2018. He was born December 21, 1953 in Marble City, OK to Dorsey and Grace Blankenship.
Virgil enjoyed watching old movies and listening to music of all genres. He taught himself to play the guitar. He was also a truck driver for more than 25 years. His pride and joy were his 3 Boston Terriers, Lady Bug, June Bug, and Big Sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lorene and Donnie;and brothers, Jimmy Don, Marvin, Teddy, and Lonnie.
Survivors include his brothers, Vernon Blankenship and Kathy of Moore, Leo Blankenship of Sallisaw, and W.J. Blankenship and Cynthia of Tenessee; sister, Patsy Chmieleski and Danny of Moore; he is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephewes, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Private services for Virgil are to be held at a later date.
