Mildred “Toodie” Dollar, 97, OKC, went to heaven to be with the angels she so loved. Born May 6, 1919 in Dixie, OK to Albert & Carrie Hawkins Clay, she grew up in Byars, OK where she met and married her loving husband George. She was an avid gardener and had the prettiest flowers around. She loved people to stop and ask her how she had such a pretty yard and flowers. She also loved crocheting, quilting, cooking and canning and was great at all of them. She worked on the farm growing up, also at JCPenney and retired from Safeway after years of working in their meat department.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert & Carrie Clay, husband George Dollar, brothers Millard Clay (twin), Dale Clay & Garrett Clay (CA), sisters Merle Hall & Wanda Robertson (CA), daughter Laneta McCoy (OKC) and grandson Tyler Spangler (OKC). Mildred is survived by brother Bill Clay (CA ), sister Dee Bonebrake (Enid, OK), daughter Ophelia Lee Ulmer & husband Earl (CA), granddaughter Holly McCoy (OKC), grandsons Mike McCoy & wife Lisa (Moore, OK), Jeff Spangler & wife Zaundra (OKC), great grandchildren Amanda McCoy (OKC), Tyler McCoy & Micah McCoy (Norman, OK), Russell Goodgion & Audrina Spangler (OKC).
Visitation/funeral will take place at Moore Funeral Home in Moore (SE 19th & Broadway). Viewing is on Sun. 2/26 1-8pm & Mon. 8am-8pm. Funeral Services are at 10am on Tues. 2/28 with interment following at Resthaven.
