Michael Eugene McDougal passed away on Friday at the age of 67, after a tenacious battle with heart disease. An avid photographer and classic computer buff, he was the foundation of love and humor among friends and family.
Mike was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and graduated from Tulsa Memorial High School, where he met his sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Nancy McDougal. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 2 years and the Air National Guard for 5 years.
Pursuing his passion in photography, Mike became the head of purchasing at the small business Epperson Photos for 29 years. He retired in 2004 to focus his time on family and friends at the local computer club.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Nancy McDougal; his compassionate mother and father-in-law Otis and Nell Osborn; devoted children Matt and Katie McDougal and Christie and Neill Plemons; joyful grandchildren Carsten and Violet McDougal and Amelia Plemons. Preceded in death by his mother, Bertha and father, Carl. He is also survived by his sister Connie and brother Patrick. His loving and jovial spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to the memorial service on Wednesday, 10:30 am at the chapel of Moore Funeral and Cremation.
