I served with Keith in the US Air Force from 1987-1990. He was one of those professionals you never forget. I am sorry for your loss--he has gone too soon.

My sincere condolences to Keith's family. Keith and I were deployed together during Desert Storm. Over the time of the deployment we became very close friends but sadly lost contact as we both progressed in our Air Force careers. I was so saddened to hear of his passing when his brother informed a group of military personnel that were in the same unit as Keith. I will always remember him for being super sharp at his job and a fairly decent card player. LOL! We spent a lot of time in our tent playing cards and scurrying to our foxhole when we were under Scud attacks. Nothing but great memories of Keith. Can't wait to see you on the other side.

My sincerest condolences. I pray for your comfort during this sad time. Keith and I worked together at Castle AFB. He was a wonderful trainer and all around person. After he went to Randolph, I went to Vandenburg to pick up the TERPS program. I was able to visit him at Randolph so he could finish my training. He set me on the right path in many areas. He will truly be missed by me and many others.

Keith was a great human being in every sense of the word. Devoted father, husband, and a true friend to our family. A person respected for his knowledge, professionalism and tireless work ethic. He loved the Air Force for 20 years, and was an outstanding air traffic controller. Over the years, we may have not spoke often but when we did there was always an ease to the conversation.
Keith will be truly missed.
Rest in peace brother, see you on the other side!

My condolences to your family. I was stationed at Castle AFB with Keith. He spent many hours training me and my wife Margaret. He spent many more hours counseling me, I was always in some sort of trouble haha. I wish I would have gotten the chance to talk to him one more time. I am still always in trouble. Lol. Again my condolences to your family for your loss he will be missed.

Keith was a great guy, personable, a sharp dresser (most crisp uniform award!) and knew his stuff. I never saw him in a bad mood. I am so glad I got to know him.
Thank you to the family for all of the wonderful pictures you posted here. That sweater is awful. :-)

Always a true professional and a gifted mentor to so very many who I know are as shocked and saddened as I am to hear of his untimely passing. I will always hold Keith in the highest regard. He was indeed a class act. Something we need more of. Thanks for being a friend Brother. May the Good Lord keep Keith in His Divine Light. RIP Keith. .

Keith was a great man.  He was a by the book type person. He was my first supervisor and air traffic trainer in the Air Force(1986). Keith made a positive impression on me. He taught me to be by the book, to own up to my mistakes, don't make excuses and don't be afraid or too prideful to ask for help. I used these qualities and other things he taught me the rest of my air traffic career and in life. I feel these qualities made me a better air traffic controller and person. Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathy for your family's loss.

Sincerely, Harold Strickland

Keith is one of my favorite people he made everyone feel like the most important person in the room. He was dedicated to his job and did it well. He was very respected and sought after for his expertise. I will miss him calling me to make sure i am headed to the storm shelter during every storm. He was quick to thank me for every small thing i did for him. He will leave a void in our office and throughout the FAA. He did love his family and spoke of his grandchildren often. We will miss him daily.
