Jim Sossamon, 60, passed away January 24, 2017 in Idabel, OK.   He was born May 22, 1956 in Idabel, He was a roofer and enjoyed taking walks and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Sossamon, his mother, Ida Hutchison Sossamon and his wife, Carol Sossamon.  He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Angela and David Olsen of Choctaw, OK and Jennifer Day of Moore, OK;   grandchildren, Daniel Webster, Dusty Webster, Haley Clark, Brittany Hankins, Savannah Day and Tallan Day; step-son, Jason Bush of Ashdown, AR; brothers and sister-in-law, Terry Sossamon of Turlock, CA, Charles Sossamon of Broken Bow, OK, William Sossamon of Ashdown, AR, Scott Sossamon and wife Elisa of Orange Park, FL and Kelly Everett of Broken Bow, OK; sisters, Debbie Everett of Orange Park, FL and Tena Hutchison Perez of Moore, OK; special son-in-law, Jeff Day of Avery, TX;  uncles, Ed Hutchison and Bill Everett both of Broken Bow and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Jim requested that his family and friends remember him without a formal service. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread in Colorado where he loved to be.
