Jean Meinhart 89 years old passed away June 4, 2017

Born February 12, 1928 to Salvatore and Cristina Liucci. Jean grew up in Brooklyn and attended Franklin K High School and Drake Business School.

After marrying John Graisa in Gardiner New York May 22, 1948 they moved to Hollywood California. Together they had four children. She was active in her children’s Mother’s Club and bowling league. She quickly earned the nickname, “Statue of Liberty” for her unique upright bowling style and New York heritage.

Later she married Del Meinhart July 17, 1965 and they enjoyed 38 years together traveling around the world visiting friends and family. Jean especially loved her annual birthday trips to Las Vegas with Del’s Knights of Columbus bowling team. She loved to crochet and made numerous gifts and afghan throws.

Jean will always be remembered for her Italian hospitality and fantastic lasagna. Her house was a great playground for her grandchildren whom she spoiled with their favorite snacks.
Her next adventure took her to Oklahoma where she spent the last 12 years hosting many Sooner watch parties.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Cristina Liucci, her little angels Francis Joseph and Michael Anthony, her husband John Graisa, her brother Tony Liucci , and her husband Del Meinhart.

She is survived by her brother Frank and his wife Linda Liucci, daughter Jean Marie and husband Bob Lucewicz, son John Graisa, grandchildren Cher Lucewicz Golding and husband Kyle, grandson Jason Graisa and his brother Richard Kelly and wife Monica and numerous nieces and nephews.
