Frederick Lee Wilhite left his earthly body to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, May 12, 2017. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and as the best dad his children could have wanted. Frederick was born September 30, 1938, in Donna, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford and Polly Wilhite; and his brothers Sanford, George, and Harold. Survivors include his wife Judith, children LeEllen (Derek), Robin (Mike), and David. He is also survived by two stepchildren: Jeff Hoffman and Brad Hoffman (Amy). He is survived by 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is survived by one sister, Polly, and a brother, Kenneth.

Frederick retired from FAA Aeronautical Center. He and Judy always loved traveling in their RV, seeing this country as well as much of Canada. They loved playing golf together. He also enjoyed tennis, fishing, riding his bicycle, and pickleball.

Early morning Bible study and praying for family and friends was his favorite time of the day. Frederick was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church, the Encouragers Sunday School class, and was a Gideon. In lieu of flowers, support for the Baptist Children’s home, The Gideon’s, Called to Care, or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 18th at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Southern Hills Baptist Church, 8601 S Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159.
