Ed was a fine man. We worked together for several years and he was always reliable, trustworthy, and dignified. I'm very sorry for your loss, the world needs more men like Ed Shank.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine how difficult this is for you. God has promised that the conditions that we suffer such as sorrow, pain, mourning, and even death will be done away with. (Rev 21:4) We also have God's assurance in Acts 24:15 "There is going to be a resurrection..."

Having been a former neighbor for 21 years, a fellow church member, a friend, and a "youth worker" with all three of Ed's daughters, I LOVE all Shanks! My heart hurts for my friends, Pat, Sharon, Sonja and Stacy! May God hold you very close during these very hard days! ((hugs))

Ed was a very unique person who only made those around him feel honored & comfortable . Never any displeasing speech nor emotion . He always had a smile for you & made you feel at home . I know he is demonstrating the same in his new life .Eternal rest grant unto Ed O Lord , & let perpetual light shine upon him. May the soul of Ed & the souls of all the faithful departed ,through the mercy of God , rest in peace . Ed was such a sweetheart! I so enjoyed working with him when I was the office manager at Moore Funeral, and he is one of the ones I miss working with the most. My sincere condolences to Ed's family as you say goodbye to a great man.
