Dixie Lee Ayers was born to the late Samuel Earl and Hazel Helen Ayers in Peabody, Kansas on November 13, 1930, and she died July 28, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Wichita High School North in Wichita, KS in 1948. She continued pursuing her education, earning an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and worked as an RN until her retirement.

Dixie is survived by daughters, Karyn Sissom (Vernon) of Douglass, KS, Kathy Savala and Kristine Konert (Michael), both of Wichita, KS, and Karla Brooks (Buddy) of Moore, OK; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, William Albert Ingle, Robert Warrick and Harry Ayers, and her son, James Eugene Goode Warrick.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 3rd from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 S.E. 19th Street, Moore, OK 73160.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 4th at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Moore Funeral and Cremation.
