Charles B. Hahn went to be with our Lord and our God on November 22, 2017 at the age of 86. Charlie was born May 24, 1931 to Dan and Inez Hahn. Charlie grew up in El Reno, Oklahoma and graduated from El Reno High in 1949, where he played on the state championship basketball team. He served in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954. Charlie married his high school sweetheart Orvella Vance on November 28, 1954. He continued his education at Central State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Arts, and later a Master’s Degree in Education. He started his career in education in the Crooked Oak School District as an Industrial Arts teacher and coach. Charlie continued his career in administration and retired in the Western Heights School District in May 1993.

He served many years as a deacon in several Southern Baptist Churches and was a current member of Dewar First Baptist Church. Charlie enjoyed sports as a participant as well as a spectator. He spent many hours as the #1 fan of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed antique shopping with Orvella, garage sales, fishing, and spending time at their Lake Eufaula home. He loved family gatherings and especially the Christmas season. He truly was the best gift giver! He had a great sense of humor, and was known as quite the prankster! Charlie touched many lives during his time as a teacher, coach, and principal. He was loved and respected by all that knew him.

Charlie leaves behind his loving wife Orvella, their daughter Charla Wilkes, her son Josh Kilhoffer, wife Brooke, and their children Shelby, Peyton, and Jaxson. Her daughter Julie Watson, husband Eric, and their children Phoenyx and Kaylor. Her son Brian Kilhoffer and Kalee McCarroll. Son Perry Hahn, wife Cathy, and their son Darren, and his children Parker, Preston, Payton and Porter. Their daughter Cara Fink, husband Richard, and their children Avie and Blair. Son Scott Hahn, wife Mandi, and their children Lexi and Pierson.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6pm-8pm at Moore Funeral and Cremation. Services are 1:00pm Wednesday at Southern Hills Baptist Church.
