Brandon Jael Arroyo-Enriquez, 11, of Oklahoma City was lifted up to Heaven on June 22, 2017. He was born July 15, 2005 in Oklahoma City to Jose Joel Arroyo and Juana Adriana Enriquez. Though he was only here 11 short years, the impact he had on Earth will forever remain.
A happy boy full of smiles, love, and kindness, Brandon was a blessing to all who knew and loved him. He was also just as perfect on the outside. His hair had to be just right and dressing well was important to him. He wanted to look sharp, no matter what he was doing or where he was going. Brandon was a cowboy at heart who enjoyed lassoing sheep as well as riding horses. He always had his boots on and took great pride and joy in his lassoing skills. Brandon also knew how to be a kid and have fun. From being incredibly artistic to building the most amazing things out of Legos and playing sports, one could never be around him and not be laughing with him and admiring all of the things that made him who he was. He knew all of the lyrics to his favorite songs and would sing right along, no matter who was around. He was eager to meet new people and was one who did not know a stranger. With his generous heart and bright personality, Brandon had friends everywhere he went. What he had, he gave to others; what he knew, he taught to others; what he loved, he shared with everyone. The world will be dimmer without his physical presence, but the light of his joyful spirit will lead the way until we are with him again.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Jose Guadalupe Guerrero; He also joined his sweet siblings in Heaven, infant twins Jesus and Maria Guadalupe Arroyo-Enriquez who will help him to watch over the family.
Survivors include his mother, Juana Adriana Enriquez of Oklahoma City; father, Jose Joel Arroyo and Luz Castillo of Aurora, Missouri; brothers, Brian and Elder of Oklahoma City and Iker of Aurora, MO; aunts, Josefina and Jose Perez, Christina and Federico Lupercio, Rosalinda and Juanpablo Victor-Cervantes and uncle Jose Luis Enriquez, all of Oklahoma City; uncles and aunts, Soila, Juandiego, Victor, Gabriela, Esperanza and Pedro Arroyo, all of Mexico; cousins, Juanjose Enriquez, Jared and Juaquin Guerreo, Joan Perez, Matthew Lupercio, Eliasjesus and Elexia Victor-Enriquez all of Oklahoma City; grandparents, Jose and Maria S. Enriquez of Oklahoma City and Ruben Arroyo and Carmela Gomez of Mexico; God parents, Mario Valdez and Veronica Moncayo both of Oklahoma City; Brandon is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends, as well as his amazing friends from Capitol Hill Elementary School.
Visitation for Brandon will be Monday, June 26, 2017 at Moore Funeral and Cremation from 1:00PM to 8:00PM. A rosary service will be Monday night at 6:30PM in the chapel of Moore Funeral and Cremation. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. Condolences may be shared at www.MooreFuneralCremation.com.
